About Marlagowyah Aboriginal Corporation
Formerly known as Olabud Doogeth
Marlagowyah Aboriginal Corporation was formerly known as Olabud Doogethu. With support to strengthen our governance and establish our independence, we now operate on our own - with a trained board, a functioning office, and a clear plan to grow our services for young people in Halls Creek.
We are a not-for-profit Aboriginal corporation based in Halls Creek, Western Australia, working with children and young people across Halls Creek and the Lundja (Red Hill), Mardiwah Loop, Nicholson Block and Yardgee communities.

Everything we do is guided by our rulebook and our community.
Our objectives are to:
Improve opportunities and wellbeing for children and young people in Halls Creek.
Build community capacity to run culturally based youth diversion and at-risk services.
Operate community enterprises and build a strong financial base.
Help young people keep and renew their traditional culture.
Support young people affected by social injustice - in education, health, housing, employment and welfare.
Act as a forum and advocacy group for the Halls Creek Aboriginal community.
